so my moms boyfriend liked this girl puppet i built like a year ago and he wants me to build one for his grandaughter! so im going to post my project as i build. it will be like my other builds that ive posted as im using my roly pattern again. i want it to be like betty lou from seseme street. you guys have any ideas on how i can make this puppet my own?

You have your own unique style of building puppets......... so your interpretation of that character will be your own. Betty lou is only a inspiration to get you started. Can't wait to see what you do.

I agree with Billy that I am sure you can make it your own. Betty Lou has yellow yarn hair so perhaps you can change the color or type of material for here hair.  Since your mom's boyfriend likes the one you built before it is more then likely it is the child like innocence that he likes of the character. Bows in the hair help that but you could put them on the ends of the ponytail instead of on top.  Let your creativity take over.
