I have been working out making a simple moving mouth puppet and this is what I have come up with. The pattern I made is very simple - if you can follow a line on your sewing machine you can make this puppet. My goal was to make a puppet that could be personalized in multiple ways, but is simple to sew and does not require much in the way of supplies. I am taking one along to show my son - who works at Animax Design in Nashville - so he can give me pointers on how to improve it, but I am pleased with the results. I will be making a bunch of "Bare Puppet Bodies" for the kids at my uncoming puppet workshop. Let me know what you think!

Lisa, i like them! I have some very similar ones like it that I made a pattern for, too. I decided to go with round monster-type eyes- because i had a bunch of smaller styrofoam balls donated to me. Have a great time with your workshop.
