Ok got it loaded.  Looking good!  I love that purple fur.  It also looks like you got some more done on the body and such since you posted this.  Your moving right along!

Hey it's looking great! Nice Blog! I'm glad you took Shawn's advice about the reminders though since I just read this thread for the first time today. So now I'm all caught up on your latest progress. I haven't worked with any of the long fur like that yet. I can't wait! I've been thinking that I'll have to do another monster soon.

Oh I was going to add too that I pretty much always work from sketches. They may be fairly crude but I need that basic concept to guide me as I build. That's not to say I won't make changes as I go. You never know exactly how the build is going to evolve. So I use it as a guide but I go where the creative road takes me.

I can't say enough about how much fun it is to work with that fur- it is spectacular.

I agree with you Marc, it does help to have a working idea sketched out, it's can always be changed- but you have a good jumping off point. (I remember changing the types of eye I built three different times on my Grannie Oakley puppet before I was happy with the final result!!)

My sketch for this monster puppet is a bit more "finished", because I needed to be able to show it to the client before I proceeded with the actual puppet.

Can't wait to see more pictures of all your latest builds!
