Hello, my name is John and I love to make puppets! I've only met three or four other puppetmakers in my life so I'm really happy to be here. I like to build sock puppets (at least they start off as sock puppets) and have some experience building giant puppets for various projects. I enjoy taking a problem like making a puppet blink or grin, and figuring out how to make it happen. My goal at this point is to produce a puppet show that showcases my specific talents and get it out on the web. In addition to puppets I also am a painter and costume maker.

Welcome to P&S.  I know the others will chime in soon, but YES there are a lot of puppet makers.  There are very different styles, techniques and levels here.  You will fit right in.
