OK, so maybe I missed it, but I can't find where you tell us what kind of fabric you are using.  Did you get it online, etc.?
Thanks!
so i found the topic, i think its called Velux, i never knew the name of the fabric but shawn helped me find out what it was.. i just found it in the fleece bin at walmart and i knew it wasent fleece. it seemed to be higher quality and it doesent seem to peel (i think thats what its called) like fleece over time and it hides seams really well, better than what ive been buying at walmart at least. my friend was really nice she sold me the first 2 yards at $1.00 i used to work with her, its nice to know people sometimes they give you dicounts! i think its like what those mexican blankets are made of with like mickey mouse, betty boop with a shorter pile, and the virgin mary. i love that it hides my seams with very little effort.
i really like this fabric the only down side is you might not be able to dye it but if you find it in a color you like i think you would be happy!

Yep the fabric is called Vellux (two L's) and you can't always find it in the fabric department but you are likely to find a bunch of blankets out there made of it. It is pretty common to find them in skin tones.

@nall29  I think I like pupil placement number 1 better. It seems to be directed more toward the camera. The other one is looking up.  The thing is that may just be the angle of the camera.

Hi Eric, I am digging the eyes much more now with those changes. I'm with Shawn on this one, placement number 1 looks much better. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

Id go with placement 1 as well, its seems like the eye is focussed a little more, but its kind of hard to tell with just the one eye, but its all about finding out the best placement via experimentation!! looking good so far tho!!

I used to use Velox a lot, it can wear down with time and get holes from wear. Our puppets had hard use, I hope yours will fair better. I like the way Velox looks velvety on both sides. I recently sewed with some that I had around for about 10 years and it gummed up my sewing machine needle so bad I had to take it in for cleaning.  It did NOT act that way when it was new so watch out when it gets old.

Might have to try and get my hands on some Vellux. Snail, what would you deem 'hard use'?

And Jeezbo, I am now viewing Mr Lupvet in a whole and entirely different light! Closest thing to romance I've had in a while... Perhaps there's a script in that?!
