Hey Billy. The product you linked to looks a lot like the close celled foam I use that my company refers to as EVA foam.  In fact it may even be closer to the craft foam or foamies that folks find in stores only thicker.  I bet it has similar qualities.  In fact while I was over there I noticed they had a version of it in colors! http://www.customfoams.co.uk/productdetails/pld33/ExpandedPolyethyleneFoams  Might be interesting to use for some things. Since it is denser it would not move and shape the same as softer poly foam but it still might have possibilities.

I tell you the names of different foams can get confusing. That is why if I'm interested in a foam product I ask the company for a sample piece first before I order. I then keep the samples with the correct name,order number, and company information together for future reference.

Yep that is a good idea Billy.  I am lucky that I have a company in town that I can go to and actually see a touch the product.

I wish I could touch the products!  I get so confused about all these foams too!!

 i wish i could touch the products too, those colours look great and my mind is buzzing with ideas already, it sometimes takes others (like yourselves) to stumble across a product that can be used for puppet making rather than its intentional purpose!!
