At this year's Oscars, the Academy will not be allowing either of the Best Original Song nominees to perform their nominated song.

Since The Muppets have brought so much joy to the hearts of cinema enthusiasts everywhere for decades, we are OUTRAGED they won't have their chance to perform "Man or Muppet!"

Well, I have to admit- I never watch the acadamy awards whatsoever. They just don't seem to get me...

I have signed it! The Oscars have always been kind of a big deal in my house. From the time I was a kid I used to watch them with my mother. Then I owned and operated a video store for thirteen years so I had a professional interest as well. I almost NEVER watch the Super Bowl but I ALWAYS watch the Oscars and I was really looking forward to seeing the Muppet's number performed on the show. Frankly I was looking forward to seeing both numbers. I hope the petition has an impact, but I kind of doubt that make a change this close to showtime.
