Eye Suppliers Posted by MsPuppet on Feb 19, 2012
I know we have discussed this before. However... the sources listed are no longer up to date. Some of the web sites no longer exist, and some do not have eyes in stock (one company sold everything to One Way Street - now Creative Ministries).
SO... anyone have any updated sources for buying comic type eyes in bulk? Prefer larger ones, and need some that are blacklight as well. Armorplans still shows some, and I plan to order from them tomorrow(although my computer security says their web site is not safe, I think they have a glitch).
I know I can make my own, etc., but my time is limited and I prefer to use it creating puppets and not creating eyes. LOL
Thanks!

I'm not sure exactly what type of eyes you have in mind, but I was at JoAnne Fabrics a few weeks ago and picked up a handful of various teddy bear eyes. I tend to use half ping pong balls or plastic spoons with teddy bear stud eyes. They had various sizes, from small black pupils to larger brown bear eyes. They also had green cat eyes.
Not sure if that helps or not, but there ya go.

Contact Bill at Mercury Plastics and ask if he can send you a catalog. There minimum order is 500 pieces per item. Not sure if you need that many. [email}merplast@aol.com[/email]

Thanks. I have contacted the ones that may have what I need. Specifically I need 32-50mm comical eyes that have a left and right eye (as opposed to both eyes looking left or right).
