Once you're ready to do a puppet skit, show, or whatever?  Where to you go?  Once I am ready...which will be???  I am thinking of doing a puppet show downtown in a park.  That good, or not good?    

Well you could do a show in the park but I would make sure you don't need a permit from the city.   Shows can be done just about anywhere. Many folks do like you are thinking and preform on the street or in parks for tips. It is called Busking. There are other puppeteers who do shows for kids at birthday parties or school assemblies. The thing with that is you have to market yourself to get those gigs.  Starting out busking on the streets or parks may be easier in the beginning but like I mentioned make sure you aren't breaking any laws.

Thank you for help there.  I just read Wikipedia about Busking.  I wouldn't be breaking any laws.  Just hoping for any laughs.    

Just to let you know.  I'll work on a Rod Puppet first then a marionette. Read that on School of Puppetry.  I'll be getting my puppets on PuppetU.com.

Or do you have a camera or a friend has one? Then you could go for YouTube and reach the world- that's what I am trying now.

Sounds like you have a plan.

Oh no, not yet!  Just asking the puppet masters.  I am making my own marionette and tomorrow buying a rod puppet.
