Where can I get at least cube of foam? Posted by squirrely on Mar 06, 2012
Going to Wal-mart all I saw was rolls of foam and foam you could lay on.  In the future, I want to make a foam head puppet.  I can't find a cube of foam or a tall piece of it.

No probs - a little hint, the search function works best from the home page. If you do it from a certain forum area, it will only search that area and not the whole site.

Do an online search (or use the old fashioned yellow pages) to find a place in your area that supplies foam for upholstery.  They will have it in all different thicknesses and sizes (usually will cut whatever you want).

Hancock fabric carries foam in several different sizes and thicknesses, not sure about Hobby Lobby, or JoAnne's. Hancock sells a foam hassock, which is nothing more than a huge block of foam. FYI, Hancock calls most of their foam BioFoam, it's supposed to be made from soybeans, or something.
