Hi puppet people! My name is Megan, and I'm in Minneapolis Minnesota.
I'm very, very new to puppets and puppetry. I've been a seamstress and crafter for years, though I'd never built a puppet before. My friend Jeff is a puppeteer, though he felt his own puppet building skills were lacking. I offered to help him build some new puppets, and things have snowballed into something that (I hope!) pretty cool. I'm hoping to learn how to better apply my general crafting skills at the art of puppet building, to learn more about puppetry in general, and to meet some nifty people along the way!

Hello Dr. Megan!! Welcome to Puppets and Stuff! It's so exciting to meet a real scientist! Kimberly introduced me to the Institute and the fine work you do there. I just watched your very informative video on PNA yesterday. Great stuff!
I'm glad that you and Jeff have gotten together to create the silly goodness of the IRS. I think you'll find a LOT of useful and informative stuff here at P&S. I know I have. If you're ever stumped or need help with anything you can throw it out to the fine folks here at the forum and I'll wager that you'll have at least 6 good answers before the end of the day.
Let me know if the Institute needs to open a branch in southern Wisconsin anytime soon. See you round the interweb!
