De-wrinkling Antron Fleece Posted by puppet_tron on Mar 20, 2012
Hi,
I am very sorry if this topic has already been covered, i scoured the boards but couldn't find anything. I bought some Antron Fleece several months ago and it came folded up nicely, but there are wrinkles and crease lines in it. How do i go about de-wrinkling the fleece? My assumption is i wash it to get the wrinkles out. I wasn't planning on dyeing it as i have several bright white puppets i need to build. I've encountered this with anti-pill fleece before as well, and washing it didn't seem to get out the wrinkles, but I believe I washed it on a cold cycle. Perhaps I need to use a warm or hot cycle, but that makes me nervous in terms of pilling and shrinkage. Could anyone give me some advice about this?

thanks
MK

Hang it on skirt/pants hangers in the bathroom. Turn the shower on hot and steam the room up really good.  The steam should take it out.  You can also use a steamer if you have one.

Have you tried just laying it out unfolded for a while or laying something else like other fabrics with a little weight on top of it.  I've never had a problem getting the wrinkles out of the antron by just giving it a little stretch and smooth technique.
