. Thanks, but I think I've a ways to go before Disney will be calling for anything other than fabric. LOL

Shawn, I know what you mean. It's so hard to release them to their new owners.

Well, she's finished.  I having photos taken this week, hope to post finals next week.  It's been a blast.  On to the next project.

Beautiful work!  If only possums looked this friendly... hehehehe... I had a run in with one when I was taking out the trash the other day.  It stood up on it's hind legs, looked at me with its dead eyes, and screeched at me!  Yeah, I would rather hang out with your possum than mine.

I think you are being to modest!

We used to have a huge possum show up each night and eat with the stray cats at our back door.  It was mangy looking..."like something the cat dragged in".. all beat up, etc  I always thought they were so ugly, but when I started researching cute possum photos on the internet I was very surprised at how beautifully created they actually are.  The client wanted the look of and tired, old Granny possum without all the "mean".  If I get a chance to work on my husband's "roadkill" version I have to add some of that in.  "Roady" can't be to ugly, he has to be presentable to 1st and 2nd graders.  That's the age class my husband oversees at our church.

Rikka, I am always truly surprised at how they turn out.  I 100 percent believe that God enables me to do what I do.  I didn't grow up the "crafty" type, more the "tom boy", "play in the mud" type, who always wanted to play her dad's tools. LOL  I always say, God has a great sense of humor.  It's like everything else in life...trust God, start small and let Him teach you what you need to know.  I would have never guessed I would be able to have to opportunities I do.

So many puppets I want to build....so little time. LOL

With all the Easter prep around here I didn't make it to the photographer, but I snapped a few photos before she was off to her new owner.  Hope you enjoy.
