Hello Posted by TygerMin on Apr 08, 2012
Hello from Texas, my name is Jeremy. I have had a character in my head for a long time, and have wanted to see him "come to life" in a variety of forms. A lack of artistic talent had me seeking someone to draw what was in my head:
But that is as far as I have gotten. Recently watched Being Elmo: A Puppeteers Journey and started searching the net to see if I could bring this character out in puppet form. Currently have several threads bookmarked here to read, and look forward to this attempt.

Hi Jeremy. Welcome! I'm new here and from TX, too. Best of luck on your tiger. He totally looks like a character I would hang out with.

Thanks Its good to see Texas represented
From looking around, it seems like I should start with a smaller scale "easier" puppet before attempting Tyger. Planning on buying the Glorified Sock Puppet pattern from Project Puppet and playing around with a puppet or two before buying the Melonhead and trying this character. I am sure I will be asking many questions in the other forums.

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff!
I think you made the right choice of starting simple and going from there. It will let you get some of the basics under your belt.

Welcome (again) Jeremy! Somehow I missed this thread but caught a couple of others you had created. Still I wanted to welcome you again here on the "official" Introduce Yourself board.
I like your tiger character. Very cool! As I've said I'm looking forward to seeing the fruits of your labor. Have fun!!
