Sewing stretchy things Posted by DrMegan on Apr 09, 2012
Recently, in the the thread about tentacles, we were talking about sewing lycras, and some tips on how to sew it on a standard sewing machine. Dr. Jeff and I put together a video just for the forums with some simple instructions.

Hope it's helpful!

Chris, my pleasure! I had some leftover green Lycra from a costume, and tentacle just felt right.

Wow! Awesome! I don't know about the rest of you but I feel pretty honored that the institute made a video just for us. Entertaining AND informative! I may even break the seal on the tomb of the Lycra and consider using it again. Of course I'll have to make sure I'm stocked on holy water and garlic cloves first.

Well, that would be something Marc: try sewing it on a wooden machine!
