Being Elmo Posted by Angel in Tx on Apr 10, 2012
I just watched "Being Elmo" on Netflix and I cried at Jim Henson's memorial service.

But it was an amazing film, I remember thinking and doing a lot of the things Kevin Clash did as a child, but I never went to New York and got famous. :'(

I watched it last night with my family, it's a great documentary. What a wonderful guy kevin is, and an inspirational story. Always nice to see someones dream come true.

It's a great story. I bought a copy of the DVD for my reference shelf. I liked seeing him in the workshop as a child and then offering that experience to the next generation when he was older. That's what it's all about.

Yeah, I too saw it on netflix and I found it excellent, I even teared up when they talked about the death of Jim Henson.

I guess I'm a big softy.  My wife and I cried when his father spoke of Elmo being the best of Kevin.  Then when they spoke of the Make A Wish Network Children coming and meeting Elmo.  It proves to me that puppets always reveal the real us.  Great flick!
