Think of all the cool hats you could make for your puppets out of the Fosshape. The Wonderflex may be just the right thing to make the structure/casing for a eye mech in a head  since you always need something stable and rigid but each puppet can be unique in shape.

Hmmm... now this is interesting.  I wonder?

So I wonder if you can make that and pour it into a homemade mold?  He didn't say when he added the coloring did he?

Not to be self serving....but glad you folks have discovered FOSSHAPE & WONDERFLEX.  Have enjoyed reading the various posts.  Actually WONDERFLEX  is heavier than both the  FOSSHAPE 300  and heavier grad FOSSHAPE 600.  Although both FOSSHAPE and WONDERFLEX are both heat activated ....they are completely different.  Theatre lights are fine on both.  Disney has used them for outdoor applications as coatings and fabrics will help insulate.  I'm currently in LA for the week, so will not be sending out all the numerous sample requests until early next week. Sorry for the delay, but feel free to ask any questions you may have along the way via info@wonderflexworld.com  Thanks from  Brian at www.wonderflexworld.com

How do you like that folks!?  Got the attention of the makers of the product themselves!  Now that is service.  We don't mind "self serving" at all.  It let's us get the scoop straight from the horses mouth.  I would say folks that you might want to use Brian's email for direct questions. While he did stop in and say hi, I doubt he'll have the time to stop in as much as we do.  After all we are all a bit addicted.

Guess I was wrong on the weight thing.  We did use the Wonderflex for smaller details on the project I worked and then the Fosshape was used for the larger structure over aluminum frame.  Ok I say we, but actually the project had already progressed to the point where they had built the framing and added the Fosshape so I only got to see the results of that.  I was brought in for detail work.

Wow! Thanks for stopping by to offer the additional information Brian! I'm sure your business will see at least a few more orders as a result of your excellent service.

And as far as being addicted. I can quit anytime...really...it's just I don't WANT to.

I LOVE learning how to use new stuff. I just got some Wonderflex and Fosshape. I ordered a yard of each, and here they are bundled together...

and I took a pic of the thickness of the three of them...

Fosshape 300 is the bottom, Fosshape 600 is in the middle and Wonderflex on the top. The Fosshape reminds me of batting or fiberfill in the texture. The wonderflex reminds me of the flexible boning you use for lingerie and strapless dresses.

I sadly don't have time to play with them today, but I'm super excited! Thanks for posting about these Shawn!
