Shawn, thanks for the advice, I think I know what you mean about bracing the foam. I really appreciate your help!

@Rikka, don't tell CousCous that, he already thinks everyone in the world loves him....

Ahhh!!! Naked, inside-out puppet! Note the change from pizza. Pizza is a highly important part of the puppet process.

And right side out. Pink Lady will be in a sketch called "Fake Fur is Murder" so I guess a "skinned" picture is appropriate.

The puppet skin being test fit on the foam skull and body. I haven't attached the mouth plate, so Pink Lady doesn't have much of a chin yet. However, I'm pretty happy with the fit, though I may still pad the foam skull with a little batting to eliminate the weird woobley spots. ("Woobley" being a highly technical term to describe something not quite right. ;D )

I would have gotten process shots, but I ended up sewing the whole thing together while watching Warehouse 13 on Netflix. Nifty show!

Wow, she is great! Blue eyes and long lashes?

I don't know what she'll end up looking like. Pink Lady is an experimental puppet, sorta "Hey, I found this half baked puppet in the Refoamulation Tank, let's throw it in the Neuralcarpal Matrix and see what happens!"

We'll stare at her for a while once Dr. Jeff finishes the mouth plate. Then we'll figure her out.

I really like that fabric! Looks like they tie died it.  Ok that is the last time I'll rant about that.

Coming along nicely I think. I take it there is not a lot of streatch in this fabric. Adding the batting to the foam where it is Wonky (much like Woobley) is a great idea. You know if you added a strip of it at the brow line before you put in the eyes it might give a bit of a brow. Although it may be to subtle to really see.

Looks good! I also like the fabric, it's a bit shaggy

The fabric reminds me of that fun fur or eyelash yarn. The puppet is looking real good can't wait to see it finished.

That's EXACTLY what it reminds me of! I've been trying to think of how best to describe the texture, and you've nailed it.

Shawn, I'll keep an eye out, and if I spot some more, I'm happy to pick it up for you.

The eyelash minky looks like the fabric someone (was it Lola?) was looking for on the thread for making a teddy bear puppet.
