Hoarding: Buried Alive
Overtaken by Puppets
TV-PG, CC
Season 3 episode 8
Once a professional ventriloquist, Donna's career has since turned into an obsession with hundreds of puppets in her home and her life. For compulsive hoarder Harold, being a good father is difficult when your daughter isn't even allowed inside your home.
I just watched this on TLC channel and it was amazing. This woman had all types of puppets that she had collected for years.

It was suggested that she donate her collection to a museum. I'm not sure what she finally did with them.

OMG! I love Hoarders, but I can't watch more than half an episode without wanting to scrub my house and call Goodwill to stop by with a truck.

Wow... looks like she really has quite a collection there! I only watched the preview... I'll have to try and catch the full episode some time.

Tom Ladshaw bought six puppets at $200 a piece which was a good deal seeing she paid much more for them. I was not familiar with the puppets he picked but he stated she had some very well know vent puppets in her collection

It would be funny if she was a member on here and saw this thread.

That would be fantastic! I would love to know more about her journey in puppetry and who some of the builders are of some of her vents. I did recognize a Verna Finley and a couple more that I was not sure of. She had them stacked in a huge pile. They did mention she was a retired ventriloquist but was hopping to make a come back.I didn't get her last name....... just Donna!
Found this magic forum with some interesting comments. Most all this information is a year old or better but oh well it is new news to me.
