Thank you everyone for the warm welcome and the encouragement. I am putting the finishing touches on him today. I did learn the hard way that where you glue something, that is where it is going to stay. I had his hair longer than I wanted so I trimmed it last night. Now he has a dirty spot from where the brown yarn was glued to the side of his face. If I can't find a way to get te spray adhesive off, I had better come up with a good story as to why he came to our show with a dirty face!

Ah the "accidental on-purpose". Any accident can be made into a feature of the character if you just find the right excuse

Some animals just tend to get muddy...

Okay, I have Kronin finished but I can't find a tread in which to post post finished puppets? Is there a dedicated thread for it and I have just overlooked it or does everyone start a new thread?

We aren't really that picky here. You can either post the picture here in your introduction or there is the Puppet Projects area which would be the "correct" area to post it in. Like I said we don't really get that picky around here and since you have already been talking about the puppet it may make more sense to post the picture here.

BTW: To insert pictures into a post you can either use the small picture/image icon at the top of the main reply page box which let's you post a picture from someplace like flicker or if you have your own site with pictures or you can upload them to the Gallery here and then Use the Gallery Image button below the text box to insert them.

If you use the icon you need to have the full web address of the image.  Photo sites normally help with this and have a share button or something like it that gives you the URL.

The Gallery Image button is a bit different.  It opens a window where you can navigate to your User Album where you uploaded the image and then select the image you want to upload.

Thank you. The first pick is Kronin Trapspringer and the second is Lugnut the Dragon. Kronin is my first foam puppet and Lugnut is my first ever, which I knit.

The link isn't quite right but I could see them.  Love the knit dragon and the guy - the foam one looks good too!  He looks a little serious for the kids I teach but I could see him in other venues!  Great job!

Thank you, Angel. I have been using Lugnut in my ventriloquist act (I have a Christian Ministry) and everyone loves him. I hope to use Kronin for it also after I practice with him a bit. I couldn't get my flickr images to come up no matter what I did with them so I went the gallery route.
