Hello my name is Ron and I'm a newbie from Toronto, Canada.
I'm launching a online puppet satire this fall called Hupdaditty (www.hupdaditty.com). The website is up now and the videos will begin to debut fall 2012. Please drop by and say hi! I've begun blogging to share my adventures in creation. I'm having lots of fun learning as I go.
I'm coming to puppetry rather late in life. The project will launch officially on my 50th birthday!!!! (I can't believe I just typed that)
This website has been a dream of mine for nearly fifteen years and I can't wait to begin sharing it with you.

Welcome to Puppets and Stuff Ron.......... the website looks exciting. I subscribed to your newsletter so I can get friendly reminder of things that may be going on. I look at the website in more depth when I get a little free time.... make yourself right at home.

Hey Ron, welcome to PandS! So is it going to be more then one show? Things are a bit confusing right now on the website but you have me intrigued. You'll have to stop in from time to time and kick us so we remember to stop by and see how you are progressing. Hopefully you'll join in on some of our other discussion here also.
Don't worry you'll get used to the 50 thing... I did... well kind of.

Thanks so much for the warm welcomes and for the support. To clarify - The project will begin with a few short subjects but the plan is to evolve, over time, toward a small collection of web series. It's a big dream but the journey will begin with baby steps.

Ron,
I signed up for the newsletter but I did not get a download link in my welcome email for the mp3. I did get the confirm email and then clicked on the link and got the Welcome aboard email. The welcome email only had a cancel link and a change subscription link. I tried the change subscription link to see if maybe it had something but it just leads back to the main page.

BTW: Even when I clicked on the confirm link it simply took me to the home page. If you have an option in the setup of things I think you should have that redirect to a page that gives a thank you for confirming and perhaps a note that the welcome email is being sent.
P.S. I just got the email, as I was writing this, with the download link and it worked.
