Hidden Treasures on Youtube Posted by The Director on Jun 07, 2012
I love to find these gems when searching for puppet stuff.  A person who just happens to have a puppet and decided to bring it out for an impromptu performance. Like this gal with a marionette version of my Pelham vent puppet.

I found this interesting clip today. When I was pre school, I remember watching The Edge Of Night with my mother in the Black and White Days. That show along with The Dick Tracy comic strip and later Alfred Hitchcock movies were what made me interested in story writing. I was not watching this show in later years but this clip someone being killed by a puppet.

I happened to just find the last Howdy Doody Show.  A rather sad ending with a shocking revelation at the end about Clara Bell.  Then an advertisement that next week in that time slot will be The Sherry Lewis Show.

This was shared with me on my youtube site.  Kind of weird and creepy, but interesting none the less.  From Viet Nam.  Notice that two guys are sharing hands with the lifesize puppet. Also funny that they made her white. I will always love you (puppetry version) - Tribune to Whitney Houston

I just found this relatively new youtube site called Sockpuppet Theater. An adult orientated puppet show. Very interesting simple puppets.  Very interesting use of background puppets doing everyday things.
