Greetings from The BURNNIE Show Posted by BURNNIE on Jun 13, 2012
Glad to connect/meet/greet with Puppets and Stuff members.  My wife and I have taught in the public school system ... 30 years each ... and traveled in the summers with an illusion/puppet performance.  The BURNNIE Show is a cumulation of working with children and 30 years of live performance.  The program is created with a team of over 50 volunteers on a budget of $40 per episode.  Businesses and organizations in the area provide additional expertise and interesting locations for filming.  The program was intended for a local cable channel and has expanded to markets in Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Texas, Chicago, Minnesota, Iowa, etc . . . and is viewed in Jamaica, The Netherlands, South America, with a translation in Korean.  The program has improved over the four years of production with comments, reviews, and advice from from other producers, puppeteers, writers, etch who view the episodes at www.burnnie.org/watch.  Your comments are always welcome in any area to help improve the production and content of future episodes.  Serious contributors have their names placed in the credits which is a fun way for us to say "Thank You" for taking the time to help make the BURNNIE series the best it can be.  The show has recently been nominated for an Emmy with further news of a win in August and finally in September.  Just to note:  My wife and I are not affiliated with a large production company or organization of any kind.  We had this idea . . . and now are full time in television production.  I'm looking forward to your comments, suggestions, and any help I may offer you.

Welcome to PandS!  Hey did I just see an announcement on FB looking for someone to help fix Burnnie for an upcoming shoot?  Wow you do these on a $40.00 an episode budget?  Some folks are working really hard.
