Hi ,
I would love to here some ideas for puppet stands. I thought of placing a ball on a wood dowel with a platform at the bottom. Any other Ideas?

I have also used plungers.  I get them at Dollar Tree for $1.  Pretty cheap!!

I love Dollar Tree too!  Problem is I can't go in there and just spend $1.

I also buy foam core there for mouth plates.
