Wow, thanks for sharing this Shawn! Would be nice if the webinars were recorded so if you missed one you could go back and check it out. I'll have to look into this more :D

I had seen this over at Puppet Hub and I posted some of your questions over there if you want to keep track of any answers. http://www.puppethub.com/forum/topics/webinars-from-the-center-for-puppetry-arts

I missed the free webinar but received a email giving me a updated schedule of when it will be airing again. I also was allowed to see the recording for 7 days. You can do that by going to the persons profile view the lesson you want to look at and click on "recording" download java "blackboard collaborate" then view video and a chalkboard. As far as I can tell this is like a marriage between skype and blog TV. I did a screen shot of the video as i saw it on screen {trying to add screenshot).....saved it in the wrong format.

Yes you are right it is a bit of both Blog TV an Skype. The blackboard feature is kind of cool. The fact that they use Java allows for a lot more options then you get in a regular browser like over at BlogTV.

Shawn I used e sun screen capture and I saved to the wrong format. I really want to view it live to explore the possibilities. Is there a fee for this. I joined but was not ask for money. I'm sure they have some type of gold account or get a percentage of monies made from webinars. I'm curious now.

No I don't think there is a fee for registration but the different presenters do often charge for viewing the webinars.
Looks like they take a percentage of what you charge. http://www.learnitlive.com/expert-center.php
At the bottom of the page under "Explore Learn It Live" is a link to launch a test classroom. I think that shows you what you have available to you as an instructor.

I did find this ............. I think you have to open a enterprise account but not for sure. it looks like it may be $99 a month with you charging .25 to $25 for each viewer.

Billy, the center has some free webinars to view if you use the laptop screen button on the webinar page. Maybe it's worth checking those out for testing purposes.

Yes I am trying them, I was just wondering how costly it would get to make your own videos. I guess it depends what you charge your viewers.
