ah... Yes Shawn. Now... what can you do with stitches in your back? You can't sit back in bed... Subtitles for 67 episodes...oh and sit still.. imagine, I sat for 5 1/2 hours last week (3 in those lovely flimsy paper gowns that show your but off nicely, to have them cancel on me because they ran out of time. ) it was torture. So at least the 6 hours yesterday was productive.

So Philip, you're saying you didn't do the operation yourself, with tools you fashioned from things around the house? I was seriously expecting a tutorial.

LOL . weeeell. My daughter's boyfriend suggested a pair of scissors, my son suggested using the sewing machine, and my wife suggested the staple gun...but... well, I just couldn't quite reach the spot, because its between the shoulder blades! So... I had to let the surgeon do it. I did tell him I would have liked to film it... but it was against protocol, so I'm afraid a tutorial won't materialize. Another son said I could still do one....but then some air head would actually try it. Ha ha.ha.... then my son said .. you could put a disclaimer

That is pretty funny. All kidding aside, I am glade that you don't have to improvise when it comes to health.

I agree with Shawn. Keeping you in my thought, happy ones for your health.

A lot of work for a 30 second scene... but I think it works well. Spot the real bits. No prizes...Me and the door.
I get my stitches out today.

Best wishes! That door alone is GREAT!

Hope you are feeling better. You remind me of my Dad, when he broke his back he had the nurse roll his bed over to the window airconditioner unit so he could fix it. It's hard to keep a good man down.
