Wow. looks really cool,it's going to be a movie?

This looks fantastic! If you don't mind my asking, what is the budgetary limit on this film? How long will the final product be? I know how you feel wearing so many hats on set. Things can mush together pretty easily.

Yes, theonepearson, we are trying to make it into a feature length movie. I am writing for 100 mins expecting it to therefore go over as long as 120. That is,1 hour and a half, to 2 hours, depending how it goes. We are filming Spanish and English versions at the same time, because I hate out of sinc dubbed movies, but that means we are therefore making two movies and its LOTS of work ( eg: like 160 takes to get 40 shots , divided by 2 languages , which is really 20 shots for the one scene).
We( when I say we, I really mean I, because there is really only me) are up to 15 mins rough cut in English which runs out at almost 17 mins in Spanish.
The budget so far for both is approximately US$50. (because I bought some lights and a sound recorder)The editing is lengthy as audio is recorded separate, and each shot especially exteriors need some sort of fixing ie: special effects. That's because we are right in the middle of an 8 million population Latin city, and the exteriors are supposed to be countryside, so lots of set extentions have to happen.
In the middle of it all, our personal funding has been cut and we are now officially well below the minimum wage for this third world country... if anyone wants to fund us, let me know.
I am hoping to get all the scenes where I appear done by November...
any other questions , just ask.

Simply amazing! I can't wait to see more!!!

You should put your project on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, maybe you could get fully funded
Re: Lord Of The Donuts Posted by pagestep007 on Sep 17, 2012
Here is a set extension. The park over in the next neighbourhood was not quite country enough, so I did a 4000 pixel wide extension in order to get 8 shots in the short scene to coordinate.
Then the laborious part, animating masks to travel with Frogo

Great job!

Frogo is so cute! Great editing. I don't know the right term but it looks time consuming.

Hey where is the little fuzzy line around him? Amazing what can be done these days. Nice blend. Odd you mentioned the animation of the background. As I was looking at the picture it seemed like the clouds where moving. I think maybe it is the lack of coffee and sleepy eyes though.
Re: Lord Of The Donuts Posted by pagestep007 on Sep 18, 2012
Yes, Angel it is time consuming, but it is rewarding
Shawn, there is actually a fuzzy line ... this is not chroma keyed, so it is a little different. With extensions you have to mask mostly, and then with the size of the picture you have to feather or blur the mask to make it match the rest of the picture or else it looks cut out, if the mask is too crisp. I was thinking of animating the clouds, but the shots are quick, so they donĀ“t really get time to move. Maybe you might need a dose of coffee.
tbonepearson, I will check out kickstarter and indiegogo. thanks.
