We hope you get back to making magic soon and have a nice trip.

Thanks Snail. The studio is totally clear(first time in 8 years) shoehorning the stuff into the attic...should see most of it away today...and three weeks and counting to getting onto the plane. I am sure we will do something while away, even if it is finger puppets.. and of course there is always animation. 2D takes no space at all! I´m not ADD but you won´t keep me still!

Hey Philip, great time to become an expert at Blender. Im trudging along at a snails pace because I have a bad habit of trying to get ahead of myself. I apparently have an issue with focusing. But with that being said, the powerful motion tracking features in the new versions are fantastic.....

Wow Gary, most impressive. You are definitely way ahead of me on that one. Congratulations. It will be very interesting to see how you combine your puppets with the 3D. Looking forward to your future projects.

Have Fun!

Oh that video wasn't by me, just a cool example I found. But I will hopefully have some of my own stuff to show soon. My wonderful wife gave me a new PC for Christmas, so I actually have the hardware to render now.

OK Gary, Good example of what is possible in Blender. Let us know when you have some of your stuff done. I am keen to see how that goes.

OK caught up on this thread!
Re: Lord Of The Donuts Posted by pagestep007 on Jun 04, 2015
....wow two and a half years has passed since last entry to this thread! I sorta 'lost' the thread somehow... anyhow here's an update. We went to New Zealand... Considering all, it went well. My daughter was married, and I left a son there to do university. I took Frogo the lizard puppet with me... and a web series of his adventures started...'In Search Of The Donut' , and will continue until I run out of footage.
That knocked a year and a half out of any production on 'The Lord Of The Donuts'. BUT...we are slowly getting back into it again. We have half of the two hour movie filmed, in both Spanish and English. Gary...I took your advice, and now am doing my keying in Blender, and am hoping to learn to integrate 3D into the footage. Now that I have found this thread again, I will post some more progress photos and behind the scenes video for those of you who would like to follow it. Hi to all!
