Re: My Marionette collection... Posted by marionettics on Jul 24, 2012
I found it pretty useful for these projects... I'd trawled through a ton of creative commons music and looked into ways I could upload live performances while not breaking any copyright laws, but this seemed like the most viable option for me, at least for now. The tracks I used aren't tracks I was use to, but they suited the style nicely. I'm still looking for the right track for my blues singer & a few of my skeleton marionettes which are next on my 'to do' list.

Somewhere down the line I'd like to upload a live performance, but I know theres a decent chance of it being taken down, unfortunatley my prs license doesnt extend to youtube.

I was really amazed the first time her lip quivered with the bravado in the voice!  Really well done.

Cool, I'll check that place out.... Finding useable music was quite a pain and working out the legality is no fun.

One peice of advice I'd give anyone using music on youtube or anywhere online is to always read through the fine print of any and all music you use, whether it be 'free' or 'royalty free' and make sure, if you pay for the rights to use any music, you understand exactly what you have paid for and exactly what rights you have. It's not always as clear cut as it seems.

Hi guys... I have just uploaded a new video to my channel and would love for you all to check it out and let me know what you think. Figured I would post it here rather than create a new thread and keep all my junk in one place! Hope you guys enjoy it, had a blast with this one.

I like it!  I love how he pauses and talks to the audience.
