Puppets Making Puppets Posted by The Director on Jul 26, 2012
Well I made this video the other night in about 2 hours. From shooting to production. I guess a couple hours of tweak time. I have to say it was inspired by this site and all of you creative puppeteers and especially the puppet makers here. It features my new alter ego Klooky. There are probably a 100 ways to make a puppet out of a fiber dust glove. Here are 2 that I came up with. I had some technical difficulties as my computer is full again (mostly with HD videos) that are space hogs. It took two days of dumping and download tries before it finally went through. However there are some bugs (flashing lines and blackouts) At some point when I resolve the issue I Will reload it. Enjoy. This is dedicated to you all. (This has been corrected)

Thank you. I think I managed to get the kinks out so when I get a chance I will reload. I was thinking of adding a shot of Klooky holding the puppet. (we'll see). I see more how to's from Klooky in the future.

That is a great thing to do for parents and encouraging a whole new generation of puppet makers/performers. Maybe go to sites on parenting and suggest for the admin to post them so your video will out there...just a suggestion. Keep them coming!!

Well I managed to upload a better quality clip. However I am having a lot of trouble with space and down loading movies. I dumped a lot of stuff but I am unable to upload a new video as it keeps saying there is a problem converting files or something. I guess I need to call Apple support back before my 30 days from last call is up.
Any advice from Apple users is appreciated.
Pagestep, Patsy is waiting for all these bugs to be worked out before her hopefully fall new season. LOL! I really don't have time for any of this, with a full time job and social life. Hobbies have a way of slowly consuming you.

The Director...(tongue in cheek) you have a social life? Mine is more like getting in touch with my creative side, and trying to find time to go out with my wife. My kids I see every day, except the ones who have left home already. I prefer to do the hobby thing and let work consume ....or better still... combine the two! Hey , the duster glove is a cool thing. I have not seen those here.I suppose you could cut one or two up for other puppet's wigs?

The gloves I used were from the dollar store. You can get bigger ones with no thumb, just a pocket just about anywhere. You can get many colors. People like to make hedge hogs out of them.
