I'm working on two new character puppets I came up with. I just started building them. I have the voices and characters all figured out. I can't wait to finish them. I will be doing YouTube videos with them.
I am wanting to start selling some puppets soon as well. I can already tell its going to be hard to let them go to strangers. Just taking them from thought to "life" kind of makes them feel like family.

I know how you feel. I find it hard to part with anything I create.

Keep the first couple and make duplicates to sell. By the time you have made a few hundred (or thousand) you won't feel as attached. LOL

I know it's "stuff" and all, but I too get quite attached. Custom pieces can take weeks to create and good and bad a little bit of you goes into each one. I think it's the little kid in me wantining as many stuffed animals around as possible. LOL but, none the less we must set them free to be enjoyed by their new owners. One reason I don't raise animals for sale....I'd end up with a zoo not wanting to get ride of them.

That's probably why I have 20+ puppets staring at me in my work office and an empty etsy page...

SEE?!? I started a new one last night. Convinced THIS is the one I am going to sell. Then I put a leather jacket Ion him I got at the thrift store and, well... He looks REALLY cool! lol
