AGH!
Somebody, Anybody have any suggestions on a simple way of detangling a marionette puppet... I picked one up at second hand store. It was placed in a bag and it got all tangled up. Please help...

Na article gives you all the basics you need really. In your case I would almost suggest simply untying at least a couple of the strings and then retying them. The back or butt string is going to be the one to go for first. If you untie a string roll it around a small piece of cardboard and pin that to the puppet where it is attached. This will keep the string out of your way and keep it from getting tangled back up in the other strings while you work.
