Hey everyone!  As cool as this stuff is, if you're going to use it in a show, make sure you check your local and state laws regarding live fire effects.  Many theaters here in the US have a no-flame rule, and that even includes candles and cigarettes on stage.  Some of those laws are set by the fire marshall, and some are set by the facility.  In other places, it's OK to use live fire, but you have to have and ATF licensed pyro person on staff, no matter how simple or safe the effect. And in other places, you can do whatever you want to do as long as you don't set the building on fire.

Just a word of caution, that's all.  Look up the rules in your area before you set your hand on fire   Now all rules aside, this stuff is so cool!

Yes, of course - safety always comes first. Interesting about the no flame rule - I'm not 100% sure of our local laws on live performance having not needed to know them for a while, but if I remembered right there were limitations. Ie. you could use fire but only if you have a bucket of sand (or whatever receptacle) and a fire extinguisher on hand.

I really should refresh my memory...
