Cool! Is that some reptilian inspiration for your dragon I see in the background?
I like that you are going to perch him on our arm like a bird. The only thing that looks a bit odd to me is the length of his arms but you know what is in your mind.

the little dragon is looking great, are you planning to make a fake arm to create the illusion that he is perched on your outstretched arm?? also is it just me, or does the head look really big in comparison to the body?? its probably just the camera angle in relation to the puppet (and me being dumb!!)

Sean - Yeah, with the medieval stuff I do, I was at a grade school talking about knights and all and one kid asked me if I had a dragon. So now I do! when I go to do the talks, I can now go as a knight with his (bearded) dragon.
And you're both right. The head and arms are indeed large. He's going to be a young, awkward dragon who hasn't grown into his body yet.
I am planning on making a fake arm. A friend has one and it doesn't look too hard.
