Greetings everyone! Posted by Decline on Oct 03, 2012
I was happy to find this forum and I look forward to talking with all of you.
My history:
I ran an awesome puppet team at my church for years. I had the joy of watching our team grow from 2 puppets and a doorway stage to over 100 puppets, a custom theatre with old fashioned flip down wooden theatre seats, can lighting, ect. In addition to our weekly shows we also hosted training courses for other churches. It was a blast!
While the puppet ministry was awesome, issues with church leadership unfortunately saw myself and many others leave. It killed me to leave everything behind but that's life I suppose. I held on longer than I should have.
Now 8 years later I have decided to take the plunge again. While I'm very excited about getting back into puppets, the idea of starting all over again from scratch is daunting. I was impressed while searching the net, at the advances in puppet construction and all the new companies that have sprung up and are making incredible puppets.
I'm looking forward to this new adventure!

Welcome!
I need to contact my pastor to see if we even have a puppetry team. If not, I now have 20+ puppets and all they do is sit and look at me in my office! lol

I have retired and restarted 3 times, each time was a different style puppet team. This website has so much good information and great ideas to help you jump start a puppet team fast.
