Great looking cast and crew!  Was the monster a person in a mask? I like his look.

Im glade Julie I think you will like the stuff. Id love to have more people help. Im going to try another kickstarter and indygogo for our next one. Maybe we will get lucky.

Thank you Christina it was fun to do. The next puppet show will be August and Its the Time Machine. Im writing the script now based on the book. Like in Frank Im trying to stay close to the source material. It will be puppets mixed with people. The Eloi and Morlocks willbe puppets and of course the giant crabs and im considering putting the grey man sequence back in. We have an hour and a half for Time machine because Frank did well. THe puppets were large but we had a 350 seat theatre with a balcony i wanted to make sure everyone could see. They were pretty light actually. I had to be on stage with old Victor and the puppeteer playing Captain Walton the whole hour show and we held up well.

Shawn the creature was a guy in a costume. I gave him a puppet skin makeover. I used a life cast to make a simple latex mask then I glues the fabric sewn skin over it. We could then glue it to his face. It had some issues but still looked great. Its an interesting idea ive not heard of it being done that way. I now know how I could improve it for next time. We wanted a guy in a costume so he would be so much physically larger than the puppets. In the book Shelly says he's over 8 feet tall. I also gave him three fingers like the puppets. I wanted the puppets and creature to look like they are made from the same material.

The George Pal movie is our visual influence but the story comes from the book. The full size machine is going to be so cool to make.

Will you be creating new characters or will you use some of the previous puppets and give them a makeover?
