From where I started, to the puppets I was making a couple months ago, I can a lot of progress. But as I had mentioned, about a month and a half ago, I had the pleasure of meeting a massively, multi-talented guy who spent some nights mentoring me and some in my group. His tutoring has been amazing!
He has worked with many "A-List" entertainers, but in the puppet world, he has worked with Sid and Marty Krofft (HR Puffenstuff) and Wayland flowers (Madame). He spends most of his year in Vegas and touring but comes home to Iowa a few weeks a year. So to have him take the time to mentor me, and STILL do so online, was incredible.
Now I say he is multi-talented because not only does he do puppets, but animal training, magic (was on the Chris Angel show seasons 1-3), comedy and hypnotism. As a hypnotist, he has two act. One he does as himself, and an 'adult routine' he does as one of his characters "Bonnie Bitch". He is currently performing a comedy hypnotism act in St. Louis through this weekend, then its off to Vegas until Spring. So the wife and I are going to St. Louis to catch his act and hang out with him before he leaves.
So, all that was to show why I'm doing this one and why the character. He doesn't know about this. So I'm dying to see his reaction Saturday!
It is all latexed, not just the head. She has poseable fingers, tubes in the hands for removable rods and can be operated from below like a puppet or through an opening in the back of the neck like a vent.
