Panellets aren't done with nuts. Sorry for not posting, I've been a bit busy this week, I'm trying to strike a bargain of a big puppet based on a monster high, particularly the one based on Frankestein. This is the recipe for "panellets", they are outrageously easy..Here we go:
ingredients:
• 600 g - Pine
• 3 - Eggs
• To paste marzipan:
• 500 g - Almond powder
• 500 g - sugar
• 100 g - Sweet Potato stew
• 75 g the white part of the egg
preparation:
Make a thin mixing all the ingredients and working.
Let it sit in the refrigerator at least 24 hours, wrapped in a damp cloth.
Make balls of marzipan about 20 g, coat with egg paste and pine nuts pressing them a little.
Brush the marzipan with egg.
In a greased tin with oil put them in the oven at 230-250 º for 10 minutes, until golden.
variations:
Instead of sweet potatoes can be made with potato.
Instead of pine nuts can be made marzipan almond, coconut marzipan, marzipan marzipan coffee or quince.
If you have any question feel free to ask.
And here is the final pic of the chestnut seller
