My puppets in a music video Posted by Na on Nov 06, 2012
Some info here:

I posted about a music video earlier in the year:
http://puppetsandstuff.com/community/index.php/topic,7150.msg65990.html#msg65990

And now I can finally reveal some of the details. You can find a little description at my blog above, but basically it says the video will be released on 14th Nov; hopefully it will be posted online on the same date or at least soon after. They have posted some pics of the shoot, one of which included below. This is one of the puppets. There are heaps more pics if you follow the links on my site, including one of the set I performed around.

Can't wait to show you the rest!!

EDITED TO ADD: photos currently not available

Cool! I remember you "talking" about this. Hope they do post it on-line.

Oh, they definitely will be posting it online. When has always been the question, not if. (Although I also hope they post a blooper reel, which they showed at the cast preview several weeks ago. It was funny, and had some shots that included the puppets/set, including the puppet pictured above)

For me though I hope that I'll have permission to discuss some of the detail that went into making the puppets and how everything was performed. It was quite an interesting process to develop them.

Incidentally, anyone looking at the above pic should really click on it and view it as large as it goes. The detail is less impressive in the thumbnail version. The scale of the puppet is about 8cm or 3 inches tall, making the detail rather tiny...

This was quite literally posted today! I'm waiting for the go ahead to talk about the puppets in detail, but there's no harm in posting the video until then (cause I'm just too excited not to). Put it on high definition and watch full screen - it does make a difference!

Very nice! You should be proud! Can't to hear details once you get clearance.

Thanks! In the meantime: feel free to critique the puppets. I'm honestly not sure how well they're performed. Design-wise I think they came out great.

I think they performed great.  Did you do all the performing or did others help? Most likely you already answered that but hey my memory is not what it used to be.
Re: My puppets in a music video Posted by Na on Nov 10, 2012
I did all but the one that went into the water... And I had some help - obviously - with the one in the tunnel. I'm glad it looks ok to you. I am aware of minor screw ups here and there but I guess they're not noticeable at all. Thank goodness for editing suites

Absolutely wonderful. I am very impressed with the creativity of it all. Wow. You can be justifiably proud of your work.
