Really, really love "Alright in Theory" and "Another Hamster in the Wall". Reminds me very much of "Mongrels" and "The Young Ones", especially the scene pacing.

Thanks everyone for watching, it's wonderful getting positive feedback and hearing all the different parts people like! Thank You C16thFoxe, high praise indeed (I loved the Young Ones!) I couldn't resist the little hat either Lola, but I can't take credit for that, it's a fascinator off Ebay! (MASSIVE cheat!!) lokiy2j, I love doing sets, but it's not as difficult as I thought it would be - sheets of hardboard covered in wallpaper really. The trick is finding items from charity shops that are the right scale to put on the walls! I loose hours wandering around looking for trinkets and odds'n'sods...

It's such an excellent website and inspiring forum here, so much to see and there is always a new project or video to watch. It's great to be a part of it all :D

I absolutely agree BBP, such a wonderful site. So comforting that there are other quirky people like me on the planet. And yes, finding and saving those 'little' props becomes quite a hobby. The good part is they don't take much space to store, but the tricky part is that they do start to take up space. Just convince your wife, mother, or girlfriend that they make such cute decorations spread around the house. Its a bit tricky to convince your daughter that, that doll accessory that you bought her for her birthday really is for her, and not actually for your latest production. Gets hard to explain when it does actually appear in the latest production. And lokiy2j, BBP is right, its not so hard to do sets. Give it a go!
Congrats BBP on your latest production. Great choice to illustrate the song with the cutouts. It works well. A challenge would be to do a few cutaways to 'people' in the audience. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next vid.

Ha, everywhere I go I see possible props too. I guess we see with puppet eyes.  I like hearing the crowd responses in the clip. Your puppets really seem alive to me, I feel like I know you all now.

Haha, yes, I see what you mean pagestep! I lost a really nice trinket to my girlfriend when she found it, and said how thoughtful of me to get it for her. I had to let that one go! :D I would have liked to have done some audience cutaways, I keep convincing myself to keep one experiment per video! (may need to get a bit braver and throw more stuff in next time!)
Thank You Snail, I have visions of my passport photo being altered to give me permanent 'puppet eyes' now! I'm very lucky with the audio footage of the real band playing, having the actual audience in the background does help make it all feel more real, and it's great fun to mime the puppets over. Really pleased you like it! (or us!) :D

Hello everyone, been out of the loop for a while with some stuff, but had time to make a quick music video for our old sax players birthday and uploaded it for him - he was really chuffed. It's a bit of fun to get back into filming before we video the last episode of our small season one! Hope you enjoy - and watch this space for hopefully more soon

Birthday Caldonia!

What is chuffed?  Is that good or bad?  Love the way they poked their bowties, just what you probably do with your's right? It is the little touches like that that make them look so real.

Sweet!  Great job!

Chuffed is 'awfully pleased' in Her Maj's tongue ...as opposed to 'chuff' which is another story altogether
Two countries seperated by a common language
Looking forward to viewing this at home with the kids.
