Hi everyone.

I registered in this forum a while ago now but haven't really been an active member. However, I thought now was a good time to introduce myself and my new UK based puppet building workshop at Old Enough To Know Better Puppets.

Old Enough To Know Better Puppets is something I have been thinking about doing for many years, but between my full time job, book reviewing, entertainment news blogging, releasing my first novel (it's called Grim Reaping if anyone is interested...Google is great for looking it up), and being one half of a mother/father team trying to keep a one year old from throwing herself off every bit of furniture in the house, it has taken a little while to come to fruition.

Despite all the distractions, the site went live in October and the first original puppet - as well as some little strange desk buddies - has gone up for sale on eBay (posted 24th November for 7 days). Others will be following very soon as well as a number of replicas that you can view in the site gallery, although these are not for sale.

So, I'll be popping up every now and then with some progress bits, new designs, new replicas and anything else i can manage to think of.

Love the desk buddies. I take it the sketches are all future puppets.  Looks like a fun group of puppets will be coming from your imagination!

Hello! Liked Herman the Hairy dude, the bid count is rising!! How many do you think you can make and sell at a time? Is this going to be a new career for you? I liked the videos of Herman too, he's totally got the moves! haha
