Welcome to Puppets and Stuff! I'll have to check out your other post. I like the characters in your picture. Drawer runners? You mean the guides inside a drawer that help it slide in and out?  Perhaps your other post explains it.  I am intrigued.

Thanks Shawn I just read your bio. In answer to your question.. Exactly! The old straight metal style ones that run on ball bearings. Worked well for this project to make the mouths/heads move up and down. You can still purchase these on ebay, although they don't make them like they used to. I then super-glued a piece of card over the end and inter-change the character heads on a Velcro attachment. I'll post a how-to video at some stage!

I wanted to create a 1970s style show like I used to watch in the early eighties. Much like Captain Pugwash. I didn't want to go the flash animation route.
