Looks like the system registered that you had uploaded the picture but it never got processed and to the server.  I need to do a bit more checking in the back end and then I'll let you know what is up.  There are limits to file size and types set on the images you can upload. It is possible that your image did not fit these and thus did not upload. What type of image was it? How big was it?

Just did a quick check of the system and uploading is working. Again it may have been the file size of the image you where trying to upload (if you where uploading).  While there is not limit on the file size there is a dimension limit of 125px x 125px set on them so if the image is wider or taller then that then it tries to re-size it for you.  If it is a really big image file it could be that the server times out. The thing is I think you should get an error notice on this and I did not see any recent errors in the log for this. 

The picture I tried to upload was 1.8 MB, I did not get an error message, just the red x on the picture.  I did not understand all the options.  The same picture is in my gallery so maybe option #2 would work, I will try that one.

The personalized picture had none for me to choose from, I thought it would let me use the gallery pictures so I tried to upload the picture again with no luck.  That is Ok I don't really need an avatar that bad.

I made a paint shop picture and it worked to make an avatar, it was 24KB.

Te circles are gone, but the first P&S word logo is now down in the orange bar and our name, 'new' tab, pm tab etc are all hover about in the middle of the next line of tabs; home gallery ect.  It block some of them.

Yes I am playing with the layout on the top bar a bit.  The issue though is that on screens that are not very wide it does what you are describing trying to find a balance that will work.  Your still looking at this on you iPad right?

I got it sorted out. At least for iPads.   Still might be a bit odd in smaller devices like phones. 

Yes, still view on IPad.  Everything looks great now. Vertical view fits and the top bars look great.  Your skills are awesome!
