Great - may I suggest one minor change? A pointer instead of a normal cursor, when hovering over the logo. I doubt people will work out it's a link otherwise.
Yep need to do that I guess. Might confuse some folks if they think it takes them to another page. Then again maybe it'll just be our little secret.

Ok I am looking at the layout on my iPad now. I see what you mean about the top of the page and the on-line users. I don't see the circles though. I am using chrome instead of safari which is the default for iPad so that may be the issue.

In regards to the profile info, if you click on the persons avatar it  should pop up for you.

I donĀ“t know where you get the time to do all that coding and stuff, as well as cheecking all the posts and commenting etc. An admirable moderator!

I figured out what the circles are...when I touch the 'New' post box it shows the same type of spiraling circle as is running across the top of the page.  The site doesn't seem to be hesitating or "thinking", but non the less the circles keep going LOL

Yes, tapping the avatar does open up the links. Thanks.

The 'circles' are used to show that the site is loading something and for you to wait. It's common for stuff that is loaded once you click it, rather than loaded when you visit the page for the first time; or sometimes when something is refreshing, without you having to refresh the whole page.

If it never seems to load, that's a bug. If it loads, but slowly, it could be your internet connection being slow.

Na is correct that this image is used to indicate when something is loading on the page like the new post.  Odd though it should not be showing up all the time and I can't seem to be able to get the same thing to happen on my iPad or any other device.  Now that I know what you are seeing though it gives me somewhere to start investigating.
Re: PandS 2.0 Posted by Out of the Box Puppets on Jan 04, 2013
Funny, it was doing still this morning, but not now.  Everything was loading fine, no hesitating.
Re: PandS 2.0 Posted by Shawn on Jan 05, 2013
Well I made some changes and got rid of the loading image that was placed on each page and then hidden.  Figured for some reason your iPad was not hiding the image when it should.   I was actually just using that on the posting page anyway so it was just laziness  on my part that I had it loading on all pages.

I like how the logo pops back to the top. Shawn I tried to add an avatar finally and was not successful. I searched and searched for information or a help section but I cannot find anything to help me figure out why it did not take.  Is there an information or help section to explain how the site works?
Re: PandS 2.0 Posted by Shawn on Jan 05, 2013
No help section yet that is for how the new layout works... I know I should have worked on that before the switch but hey we would have never gotten there if that was the case.   Did you try uploading an avatar? That is what it looks like you may have done.  I have a feeling that there may be a bug in the system. Let me do some digging.

I theory you should be able to do one of three things for an avatar. This is accessed through Profile > Modify Profile > Forum Profile Information.  On that page at the top is
  • Keep current avatar = just leave it as is.
  • Personalized Picture = pics that are already on the site that you can choose from.
  • I have my own pic = pics on another site that you have a url you can past in.
  • I will upload my own picture = pic on your computer and you want to upload it.

When you choose an option other then one you are provided with an interface below that which lets you choose, paste a url or pic an image on your computer to upload. When done you should simply click the "Change Profile" button at the bottom of the page.
