Yes I used to have a gradient black to grey. Visually I like the logo against the lighter background better though. Actually I just had an idea. I might be able to do an on-focus for the textarea that would pop the page all the way to the bottom.

Is there no poll function anymore? I'd like to add one but don't see it in the options when making a new thread... Or am I blind?

Yes it is still there and available. It only shows up after you have posted the orgianal post though. You should see it in the line of options for a post right after Reply. I'll see if maybe there is a way to make it more user friendly so you could add it while creating the post or set it up like the Calendar where when you click to add an Event it takes you to the screen with both the Poll options and Post screen.

Ok I remember now. The default set up of the program was that there was an "Add Poll" button available next to the "New Topic" button on each area page. The issue was that many new users would click the "Add Poll" button when what they really wanted to do was simply add a new topic and thus ended up creating a Poll when they didn't really want to. Once in that mode  you can't get out of it without adding a question and options so they would put in a question and options that really did not make sense just so they could get their topic posted.   Let me work on this some.  I think I can put two new "Additional Options" check boxes for both the Poll and Calendar on the posting screen.  When checked I can use javascript to dynamically add the fields to the posting screen. That should make things more user friendly. It'll take me some time to work this out but I'll let you know when I get it done. There is a workaround for now if you want to use it. Once you click on "New Topic" look at the URL in your address bar. If you add ;poll to the URL and refresh then you'll get the Poll fields.

Ah - that's crazy silly... don't spend time on it if it's too much trouble. I can always you know, just post a question in the form of a topic. It's not even necessarily worth posting about anyway...

I remember posting something similar before, but there's a bug with the menu buttons. Sometimes it takes me several attempts to get the 'new' drop-down to appear.

Yes I still have that problem.  If I click on another tab first like Forum then go back to the New then it works right away.

Yes I am not sure what is causing that. I keep staring the issue but have not seen the solution yet. I just try to hit the word New as best I can with my click. It is javascript and I have noticed that sometimes things are delayed if one of the off site scripts are slow to load (FB, YouTube etc) so maybe that is it. Not sure what I can do about that.

Because of my lack of computer, i've taken to using my ipad. Obviously clicking on the menu is a little harder with the smaller screen - but you fixed the issue last time i brought it up. Wasn't the problem with the PM or profile button?   

Well yes there was an issue with those but when I made that change it was for all of them. That being said I'll go back and look at that again just in case I've had a brain burp.
