He is very cute and how are you making those eyes? Do you have a vacuum form machine?

It looks like vacuum formed eyes............ Did you make the forming machine or buy one. If you could share with us it would be greatly appreciated.

Well most of the credit goes to Phillip here on the board for his youtube video I just TWEAKED it into my own way of doing it. I started with a plain white piece of "styrene" its lightweight and thin but very hard Its used to mar car tags (plastic ones) I started by going to the craft store and buying a wooden ball about the size of a Ping Pong ball. i took it home carefully cut it in half, and put a screw up through a wooden board and screwed the ball down (so the bottom of the ball is flat to the board and the screw is hid underneath. I then cut a hole ever so slightly larger than the wooden ball from another board. I take the styrene and heat it up (a large area about 4" circle) with a high temp heat gun. as soon as its very hot and soft i lay it over top of the wooden ball (my mold) and place the board with the hole over top of it, and press it down flat with the other board. This forms the half ball eye, hold it for 5-10 seconds and lift it up, take off the styrene, i then take sharp scissors and trim it out leaving a small 16th inch lip. i use this lip to attatch it to the puppet, i cut the eye hole out of the puppet fleece or skin same size as the ball, push the eye up through and hot glue the lip to the inside of the fleece. now the frogs eye is on and no visible edges it looks great! I have a computer sign cutting plotter, I designed the frogs pupil and cut it from black sign vinyl and place them where i want the on the eye. since the styrene car tags are made to use with sign vinyl in the auto tag industry the sign vinyl pupils stick on and stay perfect. if anyone needs a set of eyes let me know...

Good on you Designofhollywood! Good to see my tutorial worked for you. I like the lip idea and the hole in the fleece. That way no glue shows. Cool. I have a couple tutorials on how to do the wooden balls so you can do different sizes that you can't buy. I didn't have too much success doing larger half spheres 3" in Dia... yet. At that size the PVC tends to buckle rather than stretch or compress. It looks like a stretching frame would be necessary for that size,or a  2 stage process, but I did not get time to try it. By the way Shawn, I did manage to do PVC iris inserts into the  PVC eyeball. The difficulty is limited colors of PVC.
