Shawn, Couldn't figure out how to PM with the new set up. Sorry, but I thought others might want to know the answer as well.

Is it okay to delete photos in my gallery that have been used in posts, but are not valid anymore such as when we've had supplies we've sold or given away?

Yes you can delete photos if you like. I think in the post they would simply then just show up as an X or blank.

To PM someone you can either click on their name above their Avatar on post and then on their profile page under Actions is the link to "Send Personal Message".  The other way to access the PM screen for them is by hovering over their avatar. You then get a box next to their avatar with the info about them and the icons that used to show under each avatar. In think clicking the avatar should work on touch screens like iPad to see this info.

Thanks.   In the first suggestion, click on name (which is what I was doing), I don't see 'actions', but by touching the avatar does bring up the links...pm, website, email etc.  thanks.  I think I might have asked this before. duh lol

No problem Julie.  So if you click on the name you are not taken the persons profile page or once there you are not seeing the Actions button at the top?  May need to check the permissions to make sure I did not mess something up. As admin I see everything and so I have to remember to log in as Bazil my alter ego to see things like you all see them.

Opps.... Ok I see what you are talking about.. no Actions button for you regular folks.  I'll get that taken care of. Maybe I'll just move that over to the right in the listing of information on that page.

Also, is there a way to see PM sent.  When I send one, then check outbox there is nothing there.  All I can see under my PM is their reply.  Sometimes people reply days later, but don't fully explain what they are replying to and since I've slept or maybe not slept enough during that time I don't remember all the details of what I sent.  I seem to be keeping to much in my brain lately, sometimes it leaks out when I'm not careful. LOL

I think it's good where you have it, i was thinking he name and avatar were one link.

Got it fixed now. Everyone should see the Action button and then see at least two links in it. One is to PM the person the other is to add them to your buddy list.

Yep there is. The thing is when you are sending a PM to the person you must make sure to tic the "Save a copy in my outbox" check box. If you don't do that then it won't show up in your Outbox. It might be nice to have this be automatic but because of the way the system saves things and folks don't clean out their PM boxes it could start to take up quite a bit of space in the database.
