I'm very impressed you have 24 episodes sketched out - that's some pretty good forward planning! It's not always apparent when people stumble across my videos, that the puppets are based on real people, and that's where we get our ideas from. 15 years of kicking around with the same crackpot crew and 'idiotic in jokes' is what we rely on for laughs. I really like the fact you do your videos for your daughter, I'm sure she loves them very much. I look forward to seeing more of them ;D ps. I'm still not managing to get good green screen results yet, but this is a journey not a test!! lol

ok I'll reveal my biggest secret...I know mine aren't perfect but my green screen is just 4 pieces of lumo green card from the stationary shop in town. taped to the wall and then shot in a well lit area. I've then got sony vegas pro with a chroma keyer that I've perfected for just that green screen. as I say my results aren't perfect but that's how I do it!
The whole show is shot in my lounge (apart from some on location shots where my daughter and cousins get involved)
She is my biggest fan, thinks I should be on tv soon, I hate to let her down lol. she has got a bit more involved this year as I've taken all my gear with me when I've got to see her and she has participated in the show a fair amount this year, you'll see her on screen and performing the puppets plus she even done a stint behind the camera (she loves yelling action and cut! and as I use a wired remote from my camera all she has to do is press a button lol.
I've progressed a fair bit this week managed to get episode 2 finished last night and im pleased with the results. also did some test shooting for a new character who isn't a puppet but uses some wicked techniques that I've loved since the days of the adam and joe show (there's a clue if you ever saw that! )
see I'm starting to get people asking if I can do puppets based on real people but the thing is I really am not that confident using the whole build out of foam method that works better for that style, I just am not confident enough to use up my materials on what may be a mistake lol!
not only do we have 24 episodes planned, I've also taken an aspect from last year and it'll be it's own mini show that I'll use to fill the time between seasons 2 & 3
plus the specials which I am trying to aim a bit bigger in scope with.
I am so excited about season 2 just to show off what I've learnt in terms of the technical side of things, I think I have a way to go to improve as a puppeteer in general though and am working on improving my techniques as best I can.
