Haha Snail, yes, you're not alone to suggest a baby puppet! I may have to think on that! This weeks blog is about my Space set build, I had lots of fun with it, and we can't wait to shoot the last episde in our Season 1. It's taken a while, but Season 2 has begun in writing only so far!!

The space set turned out really great and I agree with you the grey spray paint really sets it all off. Quick question for you. Did you discover that regular spray paint can eat away at styrofoam? I really like the texture on some of the pieces in the wall that where styro and was not sure if it was the original surface or if the paint had eaten away at it some. Also wanted to point out to folks that the paint can do that since often that is not desired. There are water based or florist spray paints (yes the florist often paints flowers) that wont effect styro.

On the bottom part of the two vertical rectangular pieces what did you use as cover plates. Looks like maybe  you have dimmer switch cover plates on the top but can't quite figure out what you used below. Looks really good.

Yes, Shawn, you are totally correct! Primer car spray paint eats away at the styrofoam really badly. I liked the effect, but it was unexpected!

I think I know which bits you're talking about Shawn - Believe it or not, the cover plates are just photos printed out to the size I wanted them! It's only paper, but it looks really effective on camera! Lots of the other knobs and switched are left over from when I built two Ghostbuster Proton packs a few years ago - I had a few spares bits! You can see them on the back pack and neutrona wand here :D

Hi Pagestep007! Hows it going? We have been held up by the fact my partner in puppet crime has had a baby and has 'breeder' responsibilities at the moment! lol Good news is this week we started the ball rolling for some more smaller skits and the commitment to finish the Space Episode in the next few months. So I will be back annoying this forum pretty soon So to recap, fighting through the nappies and sprog snot - We're back and I've missed you all! :D

Oh boy, more "baby" material for your scripts.  I have a brand new grand daughter, I understand how everything gets put on the back burner for a while.  Have really missed you guys.
