Discount for P&S Stuff Members on Diabolo Puppets Posted by Andrew on Mar 22, 2013
Hi everyone I haven't had time to post this on my blog yet, but I thought that there might be some people here who could benefit from it...I've always been fond of Diabolo Puppets, a company that produces really fun, brightly coloured hand puppets in Laval, Quebec, Canada. They are a fixture at a popular annual show here in Toronto called The One of a Kind Show, their puppets are sold by a few stores locally and they seem to be quite popular.
They're also very affordable, usually retailing in the $20-40 range and along with Folkmanis they are just about the best puppets I've ever seen at that price point.
We've used them at Unraku for training puppeteers a lot, and we use a Diabolo puppet in one of our original puppet slam pieces. We altered their puppets by adding rods (the puppets are sold without rods in the interest of child safety), but as you can see they are very flexible:
Canada The Store, an ecommerce site in Toronto recently started carrying several of Diabolo's puppets and are looking to promote them. So I've negotiated a deal to get readers of my blog 15% off any Diabolo puppets purchased from CanadaTheStore.com.
You can find their Diabolo Puppets. In addition to the 15% off, they also ship free anywhere in the United States and Canada so it really is a good deal on some very affordable puppets.
To get the discount, just enter the discount code "puppetvision" (without the brackets) at check out!
(I should also mention that I'm not getting any affiliate sales or directly benefiting from this financially, I just happen to have always liked Diabolo and its founder Steven Barkley and like to promote Canadian things)
